Cart pushin'

As most of you know, Jim was a "cart-boy" at Target, so it's only fitting that Mercedes have a cart to play push around the house.  Aunt Terri and Matt found a little cart for Mercedes at the Thrift store one afternoon.  Since she's not able to walk yet, I decided to put her in the Johnny Jump Up and let her play with the cart.  She has a BLAST!!  She likes to "swing" in her Johnny Jumper.  Not sure if that's the correct use for the toy, but she's safe, happy, and contained.  What more could a mother want. 

She has a good time being independant.  She takes after her parents that way.  :)  Typical first child! 

TV watchin'

Mercedes loves to explore.  A few weeks ago she crawled up to the TV and pulled herself up to it.  She was so cute.  She reached up and touched the screen and started pushing the buttons.  She pushed the power button hard enough that the TV turned off.  It scared her a little bit, but it was cute.  She laughed and continued to play.  We didn't get it on video, but we caught this one on a Saturday morning.  She caught me with the camera, so it's a short one.

Chatty Cathy...

She talks ALLLLLL the time.  She definately gets that from her dad.  HeeHee!  We think she's talking to the angels.  At least that's what we say.  Sometimes she'll let you join in the coversation, but usually she just randomally talks to herself.

Our little girl is not only a princess, but she's an actor as well.  She's had so much practice posing for her head shot, I'm afraid that's the look she's always going to have.  :)  But what a cutie.  I mean really, what camera wouldn't love her!  At least, mine loves her.  She's my favorite subject to shoot. 

Daddy enjoys shooting pictures of Baby Girl just as much as Mommy.  Daddy uses his phone to take pictures of Baby Girl.  Daddy's phone even has a flash.  Jealous... don't be.  Mommy wants a big camera so she can open her own studio, like cousin Crystal.  Someone talk to Daddy about that.  :)

Look out Hollywood... here she comes!  :)
